Climb Aboard Le Tour de France Rex Food & Wine Tour
Bistro Rex will again be climbing aboard our virtual food van and following Le Tour de France as it winds its way to Paris. Starting off in Bretagne we will celebrate the famed seafood of the Atlantic North West with Scallops roasted in the half shell and a glass of Muscadet. We then follow the Loire Valley East with a Quenelle or two and a glass of natural wine superstar Xavier Amirault’s Anjou before starting our climb into the Alps for some apres ski Tartiflette.
After winding down the Rhone Valley we head West again fuelled by Venison Pâté en Croute and Grenache. Then into the Pyrenees for some Duck Cassoulet and a Cahors fuelled rendition of La Marseillaise on the 14th, before a spin around Bordeaux, and a race up the Champs-Elysees for a well-earned glass of Champagne Perrier-Jouet.
